Build It Green! NYC, is New York City’s only non-profit retail outlet for salvaged and surplus building materials. Located in Astoria (and new location in Gowanus), Build It Green has an amazing assortment of furniture, materials, fixtures, and even theater props.

I’m just really thrilled… I’m a kid from Flushing. It’s the biggest honor I could ever dream of.
C4Q was proud to attend Queens’ First Public Bike Forum today, hosted by Community Board 2 and Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer. Held at Sunnyside Community Services in, you guessed it, Sunnyside, the meeting-style format encouraged great discussion and debate.
Queens is a desert when it comes to bike lanes and sharrows (shared lane markings), but we at C4Q are inspired to bike more in Queens! Join us and let’s make Queens more bike friendly!
